Bringing together our specialist groups in advancing affordable, secure and sustainable energy for homes and businesses.
For over a century, EUA – the UK’s leading trade association for energy and utilities – has powered progress across the UK, evolving with the industries that heat and power our homes and businesses.
As energy sources, technologies and expectations continue to change, so do we. From our origins as a trade association for the gas industry, to today’s forward-looking and technology-agnostic alliance, we exist to help our members adapt, collaborate and thrive as the nation transforms its energy system.

Fuels Industry UK (FIUK) is a trade association whose members refine and supply over 85% of the UK’s transport fuel and are essential to delivering both today’s energy security and tomorrow’s transition to low-carbon fuels. That includes conventional and lower carbon alternative fuel suppliers alongside terminal and pipeline operators.
Our members own and operate the UK’s surviving refineries and fuel supply infrastructure, employing thousands directly and supporting hundreds of thousands more in the wider supply chain. We work with government, regulators and across sectors because the UK fuels sector must remain competitive and resilient to be able to invest in the technologies needed for net zero.

The REA is the UK’s largest trade association for renewable energy and clean technologies with over 400 members operating across heat, transport, power and the circular economy. The REA is a not-for-profit organisation representing 14 sectors, ranging from composting, biogas and renewable transport fuels to solar, storage and electric vehicle charging. Membership ranges from major multinationals to sole traders, giving the organisation a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. The REA is one of only two UK energy trade associations with official observer status to the UNFCCC, enabling it to provide Blue Zone accreditation at COP30 and to represent UK clean energy on the international stage.

Energy UK is the trade association for the energy industry, representing companies investing billions of pounds to secure our country’s current and future energy needs. From growing start-ups to major electricity generators, grid and infrastructure developers and energy suppliers, its members are driving change across power, heat, transport and flexibility.
